Salsa Borealis

Salsa Borealis was founded by Russell Sandstrom in Juneau, Alaska in the early 1990's, with the goal of providing a variety of Latin, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music. The band grew and remained active through 2011, performing at regional dance venues. They recorded two albums: Mambo Jambo in 2003 and Bailables in 2010.
