You know those relationships, whether it be with a partner, a friend, or a family member, where you have tried everything you possibly can to make it work? You've communicated many times your hurt and set boundaries to no avail. You've worked on healing your wounds asking them to do the same. Yet no matter how many tough conversations or therapy sessions you have, you realize that you can't make someone change. I have learned that the hard way many times and have had to walk away from people I though would be in my life forever. These moments have taught me a lot about myself and about the relationships I now have that honor all parties and are based in love and compassion and respect. "Deep End" is about facing the reality of a relationship needing to end, that you've waited on the shore long enough and swam through the pain to try to rescue and save what couldn't be saved. You've made it to the deep end, but will they follow? It's time to let go and swim freely to the other side, it's been waiting for you all along <3
