I'm a machinist by trade. Work and providing for myself and mine is always priority. Through a long tenured career and a multitude of information that doesn't mean much outside of work, I attempt to reference that knowledge in my art. My 2022 project "Running True" was a first attempt. This project is an extension of that concept.

Concentricity is a geometric tolerance dimension measurement. Simplified, it means that features of a part are in alignment with each other and.. "running true".. Usually applies to round diameters or circles. Circles revolving in alignment with each other, from a center point. (see Int(ernational)(s))

We all work to remain centered, keeping things in our lives balanced. Maintaining alignment as we revolve on this planet, the world perpetually circling around you. We have family, friends, personal beliefs, needs, social circles, professional ones, etc. Many call a working existence "the vicious cycle". But at our core, we seek for these circles to align and create harmony. but there's chaos, challenges, pain, growth, beauty.. It's all part of that circle, every circle has a center. You're the center. Fight to hold it.. Concentricity
