Lalit by The Strange World of A.J. Kaufmann

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

"Lalit" is not an album in the traditional sense of the word. It's an experience you enter. It has no start and no finish, it's playing all the time, even when you're not listening.

It's an eternal "work-in-progress" started December 6 2025.

There are plans to "finish" the experience with a full release in January 2027.

For now (December 6 2025), "Lalit" has 5 tracks recorded in 2025, with the exception of "Everybody Starts the Trip but Not Everybody Finishes It" recorded back in 2020.

More updates will be posted here as they appear. By adding "Lalit" to your collection you are receiving all future tracks and the full album release in 2027. Enjoy, A.J.

Sole Al Contrario, or Too Much Pizza in X‑Berg is a peculiar collage of original recordings from 2014–2020. Created in the shadow of Berlin’s tenements and Poznań’s blocks, it combines raw psychedelia with urban humor, as if a cassette from a cosmic bazaar landed on a pizza table in Kreuzberg. It is an archive of sounds – from lo‑fi guitar sketches to synthetic improvisations – which arranges itself into a diary of years spent between everyday life and the mythology of the underground.
