"Ignorance" speaks to the power of the unknown. Throughout my journey with illness, I've often felt overwhelmed trying to grasp the complexities of my condition. Even when doctors explain, there's a gap between their knowledge and my understanding. I'm no medical expert, and despite their best efforts to enlighten me, I often find myself nodding in agreement while feeling lost. Over time, I've come to appreciate this ignorance. There's a certain peace in not knowing every detail, especially when the knowledge might bring fear or anxiety. I've chosen not to delve too deep or read about potential side effects because, for me, sometimes the anticipation is worse than the reality. In a world where knowledge is power, I've found solace in selective ignorance, allowing me to focus on living rather than what might go wrong.
