Introducing 'Resilience', my debut album born from the intimate journey of living with dialysis. This isn't just music for me, but an emotional canvas, capturing the highs and lows since embarking on this unexpected chapter of my life. Beginning with 'Truth', every track in this album encapsulates moments of introspection and growth.
In contrast to the spontaneous nature of my past creations, 'Resilience' carries a more thoughtful approach. I ventured into a DAW, not to reinvent, but to better understand my own music. This shift allowed me to weave in more details, nurturing every melody and rhythm, adding depth to each track.
Crafted for those quiet moments or the energetic early hours on the dance floor, 'Resilience' offers groovy techno tunes infused with a touch of melancholy. It's a step away from the familiar strains of my earlier 'Dialysis Tapes', pacing a bit more briskly. Each song has its own story - whether it's the memorable voice of Bruce Willis from 'Fifth Element' or the authentic sentiments of T-pain. Among these, 'Own Me' holds a special place for me. The journey of 'Resilience' started with 'Truth' last December and evolved through May. The subsequent time, up to August, was spent refining each detail, made better with guidance from Chris Ferreira. The finishing touch was provided by the talented Pieter from Equus Mastering.
However, 'Resilience' is more than just an album; it's a personal narrative. It underscores the quiet strength in facing life's challenges head-on. Created during a transformative period, it reflects my quiet determination and hope. Through 'Resilience', I hope to share a simple message: While life has its hardships, facing them with a resilient heart makes all the difference
Why ??
After 8 months of dedicated effort, I’m excited to unveil something different. Inspired by the energetic sets of young DJs who’ve turned warm-ups into peak-time intensity, I’ve crafted an album to meet and elevate that energy. This is not just music; it’s a powerful experience designed for those electrifying moments beyond midnight. Stay ready, stay tuned.
