Daybreak by Discipline

Daybreak is the very first CD I was ever part of - but not the first album. Before this release, Discipline released self-titled, small run cassette prior to this album ("Room 224" is from that session). In a way it marks the end of an era as Jason left for Japan shortly after this. That inbetween/transition period is documented on The Unreleased Zippah Sessions 1994 - 1996 which finally saw the light of day in 2022.

There are songs on this album - especially "Room 224" and "Footprints" (one of the songs I love to play to this day) - that remain near and dear to my heart. "Room 224" has never been revisited in any format or played live in over 25 years and I may have to rectify that in some way.
