This song was inspired by all of the children who can see how adults carry bias, and how it harms everyone. During this album process, we watched “When They See Us” and reflected on the exonerated five men from the Central Park case. We read “Punching the Air” as a collective. We continue to ask questions in our daily practice as a pathway for change.
