holding onto all i want to last
on a phonograph

i'm a memory

i'm a fantasy
i'm a fallacy
i'm dishonesty
i'm hypocrisy

alight on the stem of an unflower
with petals like black moths
dreaming of before before before before

i believe it but i push it down
each inch of ground
a graveyard now

all collapsing with black holes and clouds
i'm broken down
burst wide open now
