I had the idea of playing this really sappy piano progression I had been working on, recording it from my old Casio ((bless its soul)), and reversing it; to take the sap right out of it. I was left with what I took as a darker, eerier-toned progression. Then I literally laid down and in a deep voice I didn't even know that I had, wrote and sang the words in one take.
"You think you've got me in a bind, well I'm free inside"
