Who am I? Is a question that rings aloud, to I represent a man that can be proud?

For I have many flaws of that I can’t escape, I only hope my kids they learn from my mistakes,

Because if I don’t have the answers I don’t know what to say, maybe that’s been my problem the whole time,
I’m holding on to someone who doesn’t even exist, let him go let him go let him die,

And if this happiness that’s running through my veins is just a phase then I can’t complain, I’ve been loved in a way I never thought I could,

For every time I seem to lose my way they would pick me up and keep me sane I’ve found love in a way I never thought I could,

35 and you’d think I’d have this figured out the older I get the more I’m filled with doubt,

So I’m clinging on to the love of family, there my answer there my stability,

It’s a short life yeah it’s a ride unanswered questions we leave behind but in this chaos come clarity I see my fortunes they set me free
