Lastborn from Underdark Echoes by Avalon Burning
The House Do'Urden assaults and eliminates the House DeVir while Matron Malice gives birth to her thirdborn son, who is to be sacrificed to Lloth. During the battle, Dinin Do'Urden slays his elder brother for position, making the newborn, Drizzt, the secondboy of the House and sparing his life. Zaknafein Do'Urden, House Weapon Master, laments his part in the bloodshed.

In 1999, Sable joined forces with talented metal guitarist and songwriter Kevyn LeBlanc to form their symphonic metal studio project Avalon Burning. Both were members of the cult goth rock band Gallows Hill. A precursor to "epic metal," Avalon Burning was inspired by fantasy literature. The band split after creating their demo, "Underdark Echoes," in 2002.
