“Folkish-Composed-World-Cello-y Music” ... and some trad. of course!

For many months spanning 2006-2007 I was on the road traveling in the UK, India, and California - writing, arranging, studying, and a little performing and recording. A lot of the time was spent arranging a concert of Swedish music for Olov and myself to play. Another large chunk of time was spent with Ravi Shankar, notating a new piece of his. I hear a bit of India and Sweden in most of what I composed during this time. Recording these tunes has been a chance to record with friends, some that I've recorded with before and some for the first time. Thanks to all the amazing musicians that contributed to this CD - this just would not have happened without you all!
