Beacon Sound welcomes Brad Rose to the label for a special Winter Solstice release by CHARLATAN, the latest in a series of limited edition cassettes to mark the shifting of seasons.
Thought Factory is a follow-up to 2023's Memory Archive, further exploring a familiar world built on fragmented thoughts and artificial memories; a sonic landscape teeming with tape-saturated melodies bending nostalgic sentimentality into a dust-covered emptiness.

Brad Rose is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma using sound, listening, visual art, and writing to explore, understand, and break down complex themes while creating moments of shared experience. His current projects focus on changes to the landscape due to climate collapse, the aural history of place, and using sound to build new worlds. He is the founder of the Foxy Digitalis online music magazine and events platform, acting as the primary writer, producer, and editor-in-chief since 2003.
