H3000 by Beaunoise

The Eventide H3000 has always been one of my favorite pieces of studio equipment. I bought a D/SE model several years ago that wasn’t working properly. After operating for a few minutes, it would slowly start to create artifacts before descending into noise.

Before sending it in for repair, I made many hours of recordings of of the H3000 as it malfunctioned. Different presets would react in different ways. Once it was repaired, I re-processed these recordings with the same H3000 and arranged the recordings into these songs.
