The Door by Billy D, Zack & MARS

This album features instrumental Jazz Gospel arrangements of nine traditional Christian hymns and songs. One original composition ("A New Creation") is also incorporated with these arrangements. The album theme emphasizes the notion of Jesus Christ as an open Door and a Light in a world full of darkness. Revelation 3:8 states “I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.” This album, both in content and the encompassing circumstances that led to its development, works to capture the essence of Christ as this sovereign open door.
