4 PESETES
(Fernando Oyagüez/ Trad. asturiana/ Marcos G. Alonso – Arrg. BLIMA)
The first theme could have easily been named “Asturçois”. This is an Asturian form, dressed in the best clothes of a countryless country: Quebec.
We go on with a ternary version of a Muñeira from the central part of Asturies, with very nice lyrics (of the kind that you can sing in front of children). We have added a second melody of our own to the original melody.
Blima is a musical project that was born in January 2006 with the coming together of some of the youngest and most promising musicians on the Asturian scene. Since the beginning, the musicians of Blima went for broke, sharing all their proposals, influences and ideas without limitations; going further than just getting the music they are interested in creating.
