Hip-hop culture from an era spanning a decade in South East Queensland, Australia - 1989 -1998.

Simply titled “3”, this full-length album has one foot in the collage/art world, and the other on Hip Hop production transcending boundaries today, as it did when first released.

The complexity of production on this album and sophistication of vocal delivery styles is a credit to all involved.
Proudly promoting the first ever studio recordings of most of the artists, including the impeccable early vocal-takes of the Australian Hip Hop icon Lazy Grey.

• Audio transferred and restored to the highest standard - re-imagined, re-mastered by Khesrow Rasta & Jigzaw Geoff Boardman at K-Rasta Studios, Brisbane.
• Includes draft recordings that later resurfaced on Lazy Greys' "Banned In Queensland" and iconic Resin Dogs releases.
• Cover-art: A striking contrast to the depth of the content from the collaborators.
• Includes two additional bonus tracks from the 'Blunted Stylus ‘3’ era.

This "first-time vinyl pressing" is timeless, and will no doubt find home in plenty of collectors sets.

1. “Funky Behaviour” is in full early 70s stride, riding high with a "grittier" shade of the familiar strutting groove that was always intended for BS’3’.

2. Jigzaws’ Journal (Re-mixdown/remaster), is in “full-tilt” arcade mode! Lazy Grey, Jigzaw, and DJ Damage are presented here: Tougher, tighter, and the message sharper.
