Cosmic Horror by Booon! Booon!

The second album by Booon! Booon!, Cosmic Horror introduces a more electronic and eclectic songwriting style first implemented on the "Praise to the Ancient of Days! Alleluia!" and "Abide in the Shadow of the Almighty" EPs. Here, bubbly synths, distorted electropop basslines, and ethereal vocal processing make up the backbone of many songs, though a few rock songs appear from time to time.

Cosmic Horror is a meditation on how fear can keep one from truly living out what God has for them. The fear of letting God take control of one's life keeps them from living bravely for Him, including and especially myself. With this album, I attempted to dwell with God in its writing process. I hope that the words and sounds on this album will keep me focused on Him in the future.
