Porcelain Country is an accounting and a reckoning. These are nine songs culled from notebooks and receipts and scraps otherwise forgotten. It's full of people I love, people I cobbled together, one hawk, and more than one ghost.

Porcelain is glasslike and ceramic. It comprises both the Precious Moments at grandma's house and most toilets. It is somehow hard and brittle, common and rarefied, decorative and plain plain plain. I am porcelain. This music is porcelain.
