4 track EP of spoken word / concrete poems produced during lock down March - April 2020

I wanted to produce something less structured, more improvised & abstract after the Hooha Hubbub LP but wasn't sure how to kick things off. Then along came the virus.

Fear, frustration & furlough helped spawn this short collection of spoken pieces ruminating on stupidity, anger management, mortality & cheap flights.

The words are written & performed by local poet & friend Tara Bernadette Egan.

Sound artist Richard Bentley provides oddly displaced field recordings captured as part of his A Noisy Silence project.

Michael Somerset (Clock DVA, Crooked Man, Mzylkypop) contributes various wind instruments.

I pulled things together adding guitar feedback & synthesizer.

The cut is by ben soundhog @ Plastidisc - Lathe Cut Vinyl Records & is one of the best sounding + looking I've commissioned.
