Of the core
That ancient tree
Pierces the black veil
Guiding us through
This darkness
A lighthouse across this complete chaos
Their leaves bring warmth
To my freezing soul
No longer lost
In this maze
A new hope seared into my defective sanity
Gazing the abyss with certainty

Their Gentle grasp, led me to the gateway
Revealing, this open space
Water so still, and inviting
