Recalibration from AlOnE by Christopher Robin Cox

This track is meant to be a kind of sonic recalibration tool. I was personally feeling very unbalanced, a bit depressed, and really in need of centering myself, spiritually and mentally. This was the aural version of what I was trying to do in my own mind.

The track was recorded a year ago roughly. I played my trombone into a now defunct Line 6 modeling pedal for guitar, which featured a really cool synth mode where the note I played would slightly change the parameters of the synth. The pedal broke shortly after I made the loop, but I hope to fix it someday.

The low drone note that you hear is me using multiphonics to play a low G and then sing a G up an octave as well. I then played the rest of the improvisation over that basic loop, but keeping the Line 6 synth mode going.
