This song is about celebrating the ideologies of the traditional owners of this land. Past and present.
The aboriginal people are a very generous and respectful culture. No matter which of the many tribes you look at, you will find they all share the philosophy of having a symbiotic relationship with all things great and small. Living in touch with the earth and the spirit.
This track features Jannali Doncaster. He is a young Yaegul, Bunjalung man from the Northern Rivers of New South Whales, and also a close friend.
Jannali's totem is the kookaburra and in his surreal embodiment he channels the energy of his ancestors through song and dance.
The main spoken words of this track are by the late Stephan Goldsmith, from the Kaurna tribe of the Adelaide Plains. The power of Stephan's message is undeniable.

Bringing a unique footprint to the Australian sound, working in close collaboration with his Indigenous friends and influences. Taking you on a sonic journey into the deep Australian bush and paying homage to the traditional custodians of the land that he calls home.
