Departing into a new territory, Blossom brings Cuvier into a new depth of vulnerability and explores a new pallet of genre mixture.

Note from Ethan Erickson :
I wanted a 1 3 4 progression. The feel of that movement is so lovely and emotional. After the most organic love I had had, this song came about. I just started to finger pick this progression on my gypsy guitar and a beautiful, nearly Celtic sound came about that captured the bitter-sweet.

The original design of the song was to have a full strings section. But, after outlining ideas vocally, I enjoyed the vocal tonality so much that it became a primary characteristic of the song.
