Cold Metals by Daniel Menche

On Christmas Eve 2017 a snow/ice storm hit my house here in Portland Oregon. I went outside to hang some large pieces of metal such as a large metal bucket and a big spring all hanging from one guitar string. I clamped a contact mic on the string and hit record. I edited the recordings and layered them with panning and some EQ. No effects and no mastering, just raw and as cold as possible.
