Arta by David Pedrick

Composed, compiled, and recorded over five weeks in West Cornwall, 'Arta,' Cornish for “again,” melds sonorities created in-studio with field recordings collected in and near seven localities on the Penwith Peninsula and beyond. The work is offered as a classically inspired suite that attempts to fuse the natural sounds of Cornish autumn with the compositional elements they inspire. It serves as page two of a sonic love letter to Cornwall which began with the previous release, 'Kernow.'
