Derrick Hart is a song writing troubadour born in Kansas, 1976. Obsessed with Antarctica's apex predator the leopard seal, he tours the U.S. performing original songs about the fantastic possibilities of life on this planet. Hart plays a kind of idiosyncratic experimental folk music that often exudes a timeless quality, yet clearly reflects the strange reality of life in post-bicentennial America.
