Lumi's first action upon taking control is attempting to purge the corruption from the world, trying to restore its perfect form as she initially intended for it to be. Firing as much as she can, her attacks clear through the corruption and glitches. The corruption remains resilient, regenerating quickly, making for a very involved fight. After a long while of fighting, the corruption just keeps coming back and back, refusing to disappear fully. She starts to have difficulty holding it back, with it starting to deal damage at her and her weaponry system. Lumi then realizes her efforts seem to be having the opposite effect to what she wants, feeding into the corruption’s spread to new areas of the world. She starts freaking out, because despite having the power of the CORE behind her, she’s just not able to finish what she started, and as the glitches begin surrounding her, she comes to a horrifying realization.

Despite Lumi's transformation into a digital being, she retained her humanity, and as such, with her in control, the world cannot reach a perfect state. With Lumi taking over the CORE, her own corruption is able to find a way to dig out into control, with Lumi going deep into a panic attack as everything crumbles around her. She has no time to blame anything before she begins to get attacked by the corruption, now understanding everything that’s happening. She desperately tries to fight back with what she has left, barely managing to hold on until the very last moment. While she was busy fighting herself, Nyx managed to secretly take full control of the world, and in one sharp “got you”, Lumi starts to get absolutely destroyed by attacks that one cannot truly grasp the form of, screaming helplessly as she’s slammed across multiple dimensions, stabbed repeatedly, hit through buildings and tossed through her worst nightmares. Finally, she’s impaled and left to watch as her entire world collapses into itself, the pain immeasurable as she’s ripped apart atom by atom. From one moment to the next, everything is completely destroyed.
