Interloper from Digital Dreamscape by Desx

Lumi’s trapped, and she now realizes the gravity of her situation, however she doesn’t understand how this possibly could have happened. Was there a mistake in the code? This world was supposed to be free of the outside world’s evil and corruption. Before she has any time to analyze the reason, she starts getting attacked by the corruption, using black tendrils to strike at Lumi and try to claim her. A part of her gets momentarily corrupted, her eyes turning into static, her claws turning sharper. She manages to break out of it for a bit, but there’s not really anywhere to go. She gets attacked again, this time more viscerally than before, getting knocked across multiple pockets of darkness. It hurts, she’s scared, she can’t do anything. Completely surrounded, she sees one and only one chance to escape from this situation. Lumi begins to desperately punch and slam at the magic mirror, managing to shatter it enough to create a hole into its otherwise full immersion, giving Lumi just enough time to run off and escape the corruption. The glitches create a physical manifestation of themselves; a shadow image of Lumi dubbed “Nyx”, who threatens Lumi as she desperately runs away.
