Don't wanna work today
The sky is grey
I'd sooner have that view
Than that grindstone blue
Aint got a hand to play
I'd rather hide away
Sure I'd head back there soon
but for now just sink into the glue

And there's no other reason for this
But there's got to be reason to slip

Hell I'm gonna need a sick note
For a while cause I'm broke
Gonna need a little air
As I climb these stairs
Don't quite know how I'll get a sick note
But I'll put in a call
And think of something in the moment
To summarise my fall

Don't wanna work with you
For a week or two
Might take a month or more
To get me off the floor
Don't think I'll use the time
Just think I'll make it mine
And simply shut my door
Rather than go to war

There's got to be a reason for this
To explain away the seasons that account for my slips.
