Vision Quest [Live]

Musical energy: meditative, ambient, inner journeys

I was honored to help support a Vision Quest this year, guided by an amazing spiritual leader that combined Native American (Ojibway), Celtic and Tibetan Buddhism. Along with others, I tended the sacred fire, which we kept burning 24 hours a day (and through a thunderstorm!) as the questers went on their inward journey. It was a very deeply emotional experience for us all!

With the vision quest in mind, I recorded this live, in a single take. All sounds you hear are from a single violin. Nothing was pre-recorded, and very little editing was done in order to preserve the sound as it happened live. I was just channeling the energy and spirit moving through me.
