Artificial Baby by Dogs in Green

Artificial Baby EP is our first release as a group. In creating this work we were inspired by the present late-stage capitalist society in which we find ourselves. We looked at the world around us and crafted a near distopic landscape with influences from the unknowns of outer space, the search for meaning in our lives, the geopolitical state of the world, and the complexities of love and relationships. Although our sound is certainly grounded in electronic textures, we also wanted to hold on to acoustic elements that have been at the basis of our genesis as a group. The culmination of this is a sonic blend we like to call electro-acoustic. This work has steadily grown from May of '22 from scattered beats and sound ideas into a solid and very real collection of compositions. We've really enjoyed the process in making this and hope you will too!
