Stumbled backwards through a still unopened door
Im suddenly near the shore

I recognize every rhythm of the creek water running
Somewhere near the back of my thoughts I can recall that humming still
Just as I get to my feet I finally recall this whole scene

Stumbled backwards where the water takes it’s own
I sink as quick as a stone

Before I could even clear my eyes I could feel the current
Sweeping me past every curve and rock just below the surface
Just as I catch my breath I drift under a bridge I’ve seen for sure

Clear as day I can hear the gong once the bridge of doom appears
If I could get up to the bridge, I’d finally see what lays beyond
