Regroovable by Echan @ ang mga Diver

I recently read “The Man Without Talent.” The story follows a man who sells stones — stones that no one buys, no one steals, and most wont even pay attention to. When someone says they look like the rocks on the shore they work by, the man says thats where he found them... but when asked what makes them different than the stones by the shore, the man replies with “the spirit.”

I think that records are similar. I’ve been collecting them for a long time now, slowly building my ear for samples, finding sounds that excite me, and this project is my attempt to showcase the “stones” I’ve collected over the years. I hope that this music serves as good proof of my dedication to the art of sampling that made me fall in love with music so long ago. Most of the project samples from my collection of imported records from Asia (the Philippines, India, Japan, China, and Thailand), a feat I’m very proud of as well.
