Outsider (Remixed) by The Grab Society

When two well known musicians meet, sometimes an intersection and not infrequently something new emerges. In the case of The Grab Society, the paths of Manfred Thomaser (!distain, Arsine Tibé, DEMOKRATIE, The Independent Season) and Ulf Müller (Projekt Ich, M.U.N.T Connection, VOUL, SMOTCH, U.M. Fiedel, Tränenwelten, Mission Zanzibar, 2MBK) crossed.

Only a few days after the release of the debut single, it is now extended by a remix package. The present tracks reveal very different approaches, which illuminate the electro-pop song from different angles. First of all, there is the smooth arrangement by Oren Amram, which comes up with orchestral synths as well as a strengthened rhythm backbone. The Swiss and German formation Das Fortleben then goes to work in a much more reduced and gloomy way, which gives even more weight to the lyrics and the vocals, which are partly covered with voice effects. With Cyborgdrive, more attention is paid to the danceability and the technoid accelerator pedal is pressed. Merry Chicklit send the number even deeper into the dark club life and deliver a remake, which knows how to please by a clear restructuring as well as additional, partly operatic, female vocals. The final track is the surprisingly short and crisp remix by Alex Stroeer, which combines EBM genes with trancey sounds.

This appendix gives the single additional tailwind by avoiding overlengths and aberrations while brimming with variety.
