Peabody from EveryWhen by Eidon

When my kid was little I used to tell him some tales -- stories that I came up with. All based on the same recurring characters -- my late dearest father, playing the role of the hero (he had superpowers too) and a lad called Peabody. Both an engineer and a troublemaker, Mr. Peabody would do a lot of seemingly innocent actions invariably leading to disaster. Were it not for my dad, of course ^_^
My kid used to love those stories, so I enriched them with lots of details. The name Peabody came to me most likely because I was (re-)reading HPL's "At The Mountain Of Madness", a character of which was called Frank H. Pabodie (an alternative spelling of "Peabody", see https://lovecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Frank_Pabodie).
So my stories came to be located in or around Providence, often at the Miskatonic University, where both dad and Mr. Peabody were working as professors. In their spare time XD.

Why am I telling you this now? Well, you know the drill by now -- it's because this piece came to me with a name and a character, those of Mr. Peabody. A strange lad more interested in concocting strange powerful drilling devices than in the use those devices would be put to. I wonder if I've been able to capture here the features of Mr. Peabody! Would you let me know? Or would you prefer that I tell you his (and dad's) stories instead? XD
