Feel sick felt sicker
Coming up quicker
Solidly on the floor
Solidly on the ceiling
Forfeit my breathing

Keep track of what lines went unsaid
All the house plants were dead
But kept a jar of green under the bed
And set up the garden furniture instead

It’s exhausting
Constant absence
constantly exhausted
Making contact obsessively
Broke bread with the dead and let the lot in
And sought to stem the flow with soft enforcement

Flies swarming at the stitches
Sees one the whole room starts itching
Cut the limb off it’ll be easier than living
Is what he says dark humour or grave digging

The day began and continued as I intended
The silence started and remained open ended
I can’t relate in anyway with how your feeling
Do you want green or darjeeling
