Thérèse de Saint-Clar is condemned to remain a prisoner for more than fifteen years in the dungeon after having cheated on her husband.
The door was walled up and through a small trap door they brought her food. She was sleeping on a straw mattress in a little nook not far from a fireplace which allowed her to warm herself.
She died after 16 years of torture.
Her husband then demands that the body of his late wife be walled up in the room forever. Since then, the ghost of Thérèse has been living in the evening on the stairs, on the rampart walk of the castle, before entering this room where she died, you can hear her crying until daybreak.
