Électriques! by POUPEES ELECTRIQUES

With this latest work (the second with Geometrik Records, now with a new line-up) Poupees Electriques submerge us in ambient industrial electronic Music, full of dense atmospheres, pulsating rhythms, with clear nods to minimalism and the most primitive electronics.

“électriques! is a seven-track journey through the essential conceps of electricity, in a return to its origins: experimentation, non-conformism,…and above all, its iconoclastic vision of art. Poupees Electriques open a new door, a new possibility, a new sound; but not the last one, with the Dadaist vision that “the most acceptable system is on principle to have none” (Tristan Tzara), which allows them to move between different styles without prejudice.

But “électriques!” has also had the collaboration of great friends from the underground Spanish electronic music scene, who have covered the tracks from the original album, and the ilustrations of the designer Le mocho. The second CD features remixes by ESPLENDOR GEOMETRICO, ORFEON GAGARIN, ABRAXAS, OTHER PROPERTIES, MICROPLES, MEATLESS, AND PROTO 70.
