'Please', it lacks of richness, and lends itself
to th' vocabulary of destitutes
'Peace' is for the deaf all what he acutes
And hangs on to, like an 'neasy ice shelf

'Truth' is only true for th'one who believes
In that partic'lar version of the truth
Like 'old' speaks only in the mind of youth
And faith naught for the atheist relieves

I cannot bear to think what might become
If all diversity did meld to null
The world had never been so bland and dull
Unengaging, simple and tiresome

We need old, young, noise, peace and all unheard
Please, that's the truth, if you will take my word
