Neonim from Neonim by Laroz

Laroz follows up releases on Solomun's Diynamic, Sabo's Sol Selectas and his own worldwide folktronica project Camel Riders with 'Neonim'; a propulsive and poignant debut on Exploited Club.

A gently jagged bass line bubbles away, creating a buoyant bed for expertly crafted drums which pop out with expressive alacrity. Dulcet piano tones form a bond with amber-tinged synths as warming soundscape is developed.

Clever sequencing keeps attention tethered with mini, percussive breakdowns creating pause for thought before melodies drop back in, continuing to blossom and swoon until the end.
