Wolong 臥龍 by Future Proof：面向異日 Compilation

In Taipei, a nest of cables squatting in a cradle of mountains, jungles, temples and convenience stores, crackling in the humidity, wreathed in smog and sweat.

Future Proof as a unit has so far hosted 9 club nights and day festivals of shifting electronicundercurrents, and is now translating into a label to showcase some of Taiwan’s overlooked music, beginning with the early curation of affiliated artists, entitled Wolong.

The scene crosses music from both local and itinerant cultures based here, and merges kitsch plastic broken beats, dense analogue drone, burnt pop offerings and excursions into abstraction. We are trying to bring Taiwan's shy amoeba of sound to ears beyond the island, and though small forays have recently taken place, here is a sketch of the network in flux - not current or retro: A parallel development in a parallel environment.

面向異日策劃過9場慵懶的午間陽光音樂祭，和午夜的撲朔迷離，現在這股電子暗流沉澱後即將推向他方。
第十次整裝後，以團隊突襲，扭轉局勢。面向異日#10將釋出21首電子音韻，轉化成音樂廠牌將台灣的角落音樂向外推展。
音樂氛圍匯聚土生土長的音樂人以及巡遊各處而落腳台灣的文化，誓要獻祭流行，假媚塑、碎拍、洗鍊類比持續音，輕慢走向抽象。
這暗流夾帶台灣內斂阿米巴之聲出海，游移至海外的耳廓。縱然近期已有突襲，這網絡並非復古或現代，而是平行發展於平行空間。
