Cerberus from Rise by Gorgon God

This is another one from many years ago that was originally written as a kind of ode to the strength of the will. I didn't know it then but it would eventually prove far more meaningful repurposed as a love song to my best friend in the world, my German Shepherd, my forever girl, Cerberus.

Gorgon God is a band decades in the making. I started writing/recording in the mid-1990’s ever since I got a cheap Yamaha PSS-790. That, coupled with an even-cheaper Casio SK-5 and Mac LCIII, I composed my first properly sequenced tune, “Severe”. Since then, drawing inspiration in everything from Kraftwerk to Skinny Puppy to Wendy Carlos, I’ve been on a mission to take all that to the live stage.
