The Moon is a love song dedicated to friendship.
The kind of friendship where you drop everything to be there for them. Even if it’s 4 o’clock in the morning. Having friends I can lean on in hard times is one of the things I treasure most. I have been rescued time and time again by the people who pull me out of my anxious spirals and remind me to take a breath once in a while.
I wrote this song about one of my best friends, I wanted them to be reassured that they’re not broken, the way so many friends have done for me.
This song is about restoring faith in yourself and finding your solid ground.
