prancing the aisles
of the thrift store
to our favourite tunes

exercising with a stretchy band
i wanna be your boy friend
a bowl of oats and peanut butter
squish some maple syrup on there

in the grey drab morning dew
i’m always on time for kissing you

woozy orange sunny set
when you’re strolling with me
you can always bet on
kissing

a fire crackles
when we’re in each others arms

like swallowing chewing tobacco
we make onlookers have to barf

in the muck stickin’ on the leafs
kissing you amongst the trees

howling louder than a wildebeest
when you pull the card…
when you throw the dart…
when you spin the wheel…

it always lands on kissing

reading a book
I’d rather be kissing you

we share the look
and then we make our move

shoes hangin from the telephone wire
groovin in the waves from the hydrant for fires

the cats meow, the samosas chutney
the truth of the matter is we got lucky

orbiting each other like the friggin sun
this kissing will never be done
quenching like a coconut water waterfall

when the gates are open
no words need to be spoken
there are no rings required
to keep kissing

in the dust amongst the bramble
under the stars blowing out the candles
