Interference by Ian Ring

Five instrumentals recorded between 2018 and 2020. Interference is an attempt to make ambient pop that is a pleasant listen but is also neither comforting nor calm; it's a collection borne of dissatisfaction, disgust, a sickening oscillation between futility and optimism. The title has dual meaning in the sense of the massive disruption this year has imposed on the world, and the realization that it is our duty to interfere with things going back to how they were.
