little lamb by mitten

'little lamb' was recorded in mid december of two-thousand and nineteen in Evan's bedroom, a "mittenesque" take on traditional christmas carols and seasonal hymns performed on a festive array of acoustic guitar, electric guitar and slide guitar, electric bass, electric piano as well as a brush kit and full-volume drum kit, chord organ, recorder, shaker, sleigh bells, synthesizer and didgeridoo which makes an appearance in the haunting, drone metal recomposition of 'huron carol' titled 'in the moon of wintertime', the names of these tracks have been replaced with phrases derived from their lyrics to serve better poetically and thematically on this record, pour yourself a smouldering cup of cheer and toss some birch twigs in the stove as you celebrate this year's snowy holiday season with your loved ones, merry christmas, happy holidays, happy hanukkah, happy kwanzaa and happy new years, we love you, cover artwork and layout by Evan Wiens.
