'rot' was recorded during the early spring and late fall of two thousand and eighteen in Evan's bedroom, features nine tracks that narrate a series of recurring dreams as well as events based on real experiences, in these stories, the dreamer uses reoccurring knowledge to enter into a forgotten realm that was laid waste during a flood one hundred years ago, a malicious beast called the 'iyote' lives on the outskirts of an old pilgrim settlement where a strange ailment has fallen upon the townsfolk, finding a series of magical artifacts and dead animals, the narrator tries to unearth the secrets to the dark charm that resides in this mysterious region of the forest before being kicked from that plain and thrown back into waking life, never to return again, recorded on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drum kit, shaker and tambourine, cover photograph by Evan, lighting by Benjamin, liner artwork by Evan and photographs by Caleb.
