indisposed by these trips to the doctor
incapacitated. No tunnel in sight
sobriety’s more expensive than the profit
so how can I give myself
when there’s nothing to give

writing for everyone but myself
ignoring my own chapters
I chase mangled threads
The windows closing, I see it.
